Does anyone own Drinkwell (Pet Fountain)?
How much did you pay for it? Is it possible that some cats won't like this product? Does it require changing a filter every so often? Is it really on all the time? How much power is that supposed to consume?
I'm sure I'll think of other questions to ask later. I just want to get real consumer reviews about it.

My website is very incomplete, but I did a webpage on pet fountains. The Drinkwell fountain is all-around better than the PetsMate fountain. Both are available at www.petsmart.com and most PetsMart stores. The Drinkwell is also suitable for small dogs.
Decorative indoor water fountains are not a good idea because they lack a filter, and some of them have a painted finish that will chip off.
I put enough ice in the tray and the tank that it take half a day to melt.

Some of the videos on that webpage do not work because I have a different webhost. See:

This one shows the Drinkwell with ice in the tray and the tank. The clip is just five seconds, but if you set your Windows Media Play to automatically repeat, Ernie would do this for two minutes :D.
Of course, not all cats have this degree of craving for running water.
