Hi there I adopted 2 kittens 3 weeks ago. They are now 10 weeks old a brother and sister. I am having a problem with the male. He uses the litter box for the most part but we are finding that he is peeing around the house constantly and I honestly have no idea why or how to stop this. He is an absolute doll but the peeing thing has to go so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The one thing we are doing is when we catch him doing it we put him in the litter box and wait for him to finish what he started. We have been doing this almost daily for a week but he just isnt getting it. Any thoughts?
Thanks so much

Welcome to TalkPets!

I would confine the little guy to a bathroom with a litterbox, with food and water a distance from it. This often works.

He probably does not have a medical problem since he is hitting the wall, not the floor. There are two kinds of spraying. Since he is sexually immature, it's probably territorial. A citrus-smelling cleaner might not only remove the urine odor, cats hate the smell.
