I am sure that this comes up more than you'd all like but I wanted to hear what other people are feeding there feline friends?? I just recently made the switch to Wellness and have been spending a great deal of time researching nutrition.

Also I have heard that some people choose to serve their kitties a mixture of what they consider to be the best foods ... what do you all think about that (ie. a blend of Wellness and Innova?? Or any two brands for that matter). :confused:

I have heard good things about Wellness and Innova, although I have not tried them myself. My cats eat Nutro. I do have a leaning towards the raw meat diet, but if you don't add minerals and other nutrients to it, this diet could backfire. I was at an exotic cat sanctuary. Saw a lioness that will be an invalid because some rich idiot fed her just raw meat.

There are many different opinions, but a pet store dry food is a good choice. You can economize by buying the largest possible bag and store in an airtight container.

Some people actually claim cats can be vegans at http://www.vegancats.com. I'm very skeptical of this. Claims are made that various companies do animal testing or use roadkill. There is no lack of material on pet food claims.
