Recently i visited a friend who has a beautiful female 9 month old kitten called Tramp. When i got home my male cat, Darwin, spent several minutes smelling me. Darwin has been "fixed" for over three years but since smelling Tramp on my clothes he has formed a close personal relationship with one of my cushions... and a teddy bear and the boots i was wearing that day. Basically anything he can get his paws on. It is very embarrassing as he only "performs" when i have visitors. Each time i hide or wash somthing he replaces it.

Any advice???

Spencer, like your Darwin is neutered yet acts very male daily. I will hear him chatter and know he is mating Ms Vicky. While both are neutered, the hormones are still running strong.

I don't feel like an expert at all, but I'd try feliway ( www.feliway.com ). This is used to control spraying and inappropiate scratching.

Hope this works!
