Cats and Halloween warning

Hi everybody. We have been warned at the shelter I volunteer at to be VERY careful of allowing black cats to be adopted during and around Halloween. This is because there are some sick people out there that may harm and kill black cats for ritual purposes.

If your cats are not already indoor only cats, PLEASE keep them indoors during and around Haloween!

Thank God my cats are indoor only, because my little guy is all black, and if anything ever happened to him.... :(

While I was not a cat lover in high school, there was a guy that gave me the creeps when I found out he was into the cat sacrifice thing. :(

Sometimes these people prefer white cats, so Mewdonna is staying inside for this and many other reasons. Animal sacrifice tends to also happen on the first day of Winter, Summer, Spring, and Fall.
