Such a sweet face. Makes me wanna just go pick her up and hug her to death. How long have you had her?

We've had her for about two months now.

I found her in a park near work where I walk each lunchtime. She was scrawny and muddy and wet. I tried to coax her to me but she was too skittish. I left her there and returned to work where I casually mentioned her to my co-worker, Christine, a few hours later.

Christine launched into me for leaving the cat in the park and she insisted I go back and try to find her. I should mention that there had been a helluva thunderstorm come through in the early afternoon. Talk about guilt trips! :(

Anyway, I went back and poked around in dense, dripping underbrush and lo, and behold! There she was. It took me a few minutes to get her to approach within grasp but she did finally.

There's not a week that goes by that I don't thank Christine for making me go back for her. Zoe is just the best cat I've ever had. She's affectionate without being irritating, independant without being aloof. She seems to have this innate ability to know when I need a hug and voila! There she is. The whole family loves her, including our two little terrier puppies. :kitty:

You guys were meant for each other. I love stories like that.... :)

About a hundred years ago at an American cat show, they would call Zoe a "Buster Brown Tabby".
