Has anyone ever heard of Innova dog food? My vet suggested it and I have been putting a little of it in my 4 month old min pin, Sophie's food. It seems to agree with her tummy so I have continued to feed it to her. I'm not sure whether my vet suggested it becuase it really is good dog food or because they sell it at their clinic. If anyone has heard anything, good or bad, about Innova food please let me know!!

is an excellent quality food however it can be too rich for some puppies. My boy was weaned onto innova adult and he had to be taken off of it at about 4.5 months when he developed intolerances, it was too rich for him and I have heard this from others about this food. It has lots of ingredients.... if your puppy is handling it fine then leave her on it..... its really a great food. Nice to see a vet carrying something that is really high quality and not just the science diet stuff.

Thanks everyone for your help. I'll leave her on it unless I see a problem. She hasn't had an upset tummy or anything since I started her on it so that's definitely a good sign!! She's only been on Innova for a couple of weeks, how long before I would notice something was wrong if it was?? I'm also happy to hear that my vet suggested a food that was actually good and didn't suggest something that was only ok just because they were selling it there :D

5 mos. old and had been on innova his whole life before we saw a problem.... Now I should add he can't eat ANY kibble of any brand so we don't know if it is an innova problem that started it or it wouldnt have mattered on any kibble. Just watch for "dire rear" and stuff like that... she will probalby be just fine.
