OH MY GAWD!
I had to take Ginger in to have some scaly skin on her face looked at...
Turns out to be sunburn.....
MY sweet widdle puddy cat almost kicked my butt :trout: resisting my efforts to get her in the carrier....:madfire:
On the way over, She sat right by the door so I could rub her face thru the screen door.
On the way back she sat at the other end and stared at me, LOL.

I brushed her for a half an hour to make up.
She's laying in the sun, but I have the screen pulled over the window to cut the rays a bit.

I have to put sunscreen on her ear tips and temples before she goes out....
:kitty:
She's going to be ok, but the Doc. took a sample to check for mites and other skin conditions anyway. The first Mite check was negative.

yeah, i know how they can be about getting in their pet taxi's for a vet visit.

My mom's Whippet is light furred and our vet suggests sunscreen on her lil nose to avoid sunburn. But, but, she jus licks it off, so  how helpful it is for Casi. Guess some stays on.

your puddytat will probably be just fine. glad the mite test came back negative. some of our pets just have more sensitive skin. hopefully it's nothing more than some degree of sun sensitivity.

and, hey, happy YOU survived Ginger's first vet visit. ;)
