thanks for the reply!!! yes, I understand crate training this "late in the game" will not be easy...
i hate the idea of cooping her up all day - and it MAY be possible for my husband to stop by during the day SOME days to let her out - but not always. the only other option is to keep her in our yard with the gate closed and NOTHING out there...course - again - she already ripped apart her own dog house and we are trying to grow out our yard and don't want her ripping up the yard! we love her dearly and obviously we know it is our responsibility to figure out what will work for this behavior. the unfortunate thing is that both my husband and i work the normal 8 - 5 monday through friday grind...are there any books or any thing you recommend for us to look into to teach us how to help her deal? |
